A Bit About Me
With a background in managing a large non-profit youth program and teaching at the university level in the Denver metro area and Master's degrees in both Communication and Business Adminstration, Kori brings a unique community and education focus to council. She has also lived and worked in both Mexico and Costa Rica, adding a intercultural perspective to working within governmental systems and building relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds. She currently serves as a senior program mentor for students attaining a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity at Western Governor's University.
Kori has been married to her husband for 10 years and has a stepson who attends university in Scotland. When not working with students or serving on council, she can be found baking homemade bread and granola, hiking with her pup, Merli, reading incessantly, obsessing over shrubs, and traveling with her husband.
