City Council is Glamorous!

Uh, no it’s not.

What city council comes down to is roads and codes.

That means reading a lot of contracts. Researching, analyzing, and discussing the content on those contracts to come to a wise and well-informed decision before voting.

While it isn’t glamorous, roads and codes are the heartbeat of the city.

Our roads allow us to get home, or to work, or to play, or meet with friends, or to shop. Having a sound infrastructure is critical to a robust city.

Our codes are the glue that keeps everything together. They demonstrate what is or isn’t acceptable within the city. They also provide guidelines for new businesses and investors as they navigate applying for a land-use application or business permit.

This position requires a thorough reading of the packet, which can sometimes be 100+ pages long and the ability to engage in healthy debate using an objective lens, while always doing what is best for the city as a whole.

What questions do you have about roads, codes, or city council?

Send me a message with your questions and suggestions.

What I believe and what I support as an incumbent council woman-

  1. Grow thoughtfully

  2. Budget wisely

  3. Be a good neighbor

I’d love your support!

Volunteer, host a neighborhood gathering, contribute financially. 🌲🇺🇸
