This past year I have prioritized relationships and research.
I have built relationships with you, our residents and neighbors, city staff, council members, our partners in the neighboring municipalities and metro districts, our sheriff’s office, and our developers.
Researching, reading, and asking questions about each meeting’s packet has ensured I can make well-informed and educated decisions about what is best for the community.
The council has approved and supported 284 acres of fire mitigation on city open space plus provided grants to HOAs for fire mitigation.
They have also approved development that meets the city’s criteria in our comprehensive plan
Council has also approved raad improvements and pedestrian safety improvements.
This is just a sliver of what the council has reviewed this past year. To get a more in depth picture, you can review past council meetings at your leisure here -
